About The Founder

Jenese L. Jones

Jenese L. Jones is a political strategist, civic engagement leader, and founder of Walk the Block, Move the Vote. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Urban Politics, she has spent more than 20 years helping communities build political power through voter engagement, public policy, and grassroots organizing.

Jones has managed campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels and serves as a trainer with the National Democratic Training Committee. Her experience includes leading field operations, developing voter outreach strategies, and pioneering virtual organizing efforts during the COVID‑19 pandemic.

A recipient of both the Fannie Lou Hamer Award and the Michelle Obama Award, Jones is known for her commitment to service, leadership, and community empowerment.
